🕒 Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • Operating Room Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Scheduled 10-hour shifts
  • Shared evening, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities
  • On-call physicians must be available by phone within 15 minutes and able to arrive onsite within 60 minutes


💲 Compensation

Earn:

💵 $250.00 Per Hour

Approximate Earnings:

  • $2,500 Per Day
  • $12,500 Per Week
  • Approximately $650,000 Per Year (before overtime and call compensation)


🩺 Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services including:

✔ General anesthesia administration
✔ Pre-operative evaluations
✔ Post-operative patient management
✔ Acute pain management
✔ Airway management and emergency response
✔ Regional anesthesia and nerve blocks
✔ Medical direction/supervision of CRNAs
✔ Sedation services outside the operating room
✔ Emergency airway coverage throughout the hospital

Support surgical specialties including:

  • Cardiac Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Neurosurgery
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Plastic Surgery
  • ENT
  • Urology
  • Ophthalmology
  • Cardiac Catheterization Lab
  • Electrophysiology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)


✅ Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

✔ MD or DO Degree
✔ Active unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State or Territory
✔ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA)
✔ Current BLS Certification
✔ Current ACLS Certification
✔ Active DEA Registration
✔ Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
✔ Professional liability insurance
✔ Recent anesthesiology experience within the past two years

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Previous VA or federal healthcare experience

❤️ Cardiac Anesthesia Specialists Needed

At least two physicians should also possess:

✔ Advanced Certification in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
✔ Fellowship Training in Cardiac Anesthesia or Critical Care (Preferred)
✔ Recent experience performing anesthesia for:

  • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
  • Cardiac Valve Procedures
