Schedule

🕒 Monday – Friday
🕒 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

📍 Primary School Site:
1791 W. Acacia Avenue
Hemet, CA 92545

📍 Daily travel between school sites in Hemet, San Jacinto, Idyllwild, and Anza may be required.


Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

✔️ Evaluating student performance in fine motor skills, sensory processing, posture, movement, and perceptual motor development

✔️ Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals

✔️ Providing occupational therapy services to students with special needs

✔️ Collaborating with teachers, support staff, medical personnel, and multidisciplinary teams

✔️ Providing training and guidance to support staff and families

✔️ Attending IEP meetings and maintaining progress notes and student records

✔️ Re-evaluating student progress and updating therapy plans as needed

✔️ Supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)

✔️ Maintaining a safe and effective therapy environment


Qualifications

✅ Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Occupational Therapy

✅ Current Registration through the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and/or National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

✅ Valid California Driver’s License

✅ One (1) Year of Occupational Therapy Experience Preferred

✅ School-Based or Special Needs Experience Preferred

✅ Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

✅ Ability to travel between assigned school sites


Additional Information

📌 Travel Between School Sites Required

📌 Reliable Transportation Required

📌 Experience with children ages 3–22 and special needs populations highly preferred
